There are many thousands of applications where continuous real time monitoring and control are simply not cost justifiable. In the past, several prohibitive cost barriers have essentially stopped many people from getting remote access to equipment operational data. These barriers, just to name a few, have included:

  • The initial high cost of telemetry equipment
  • Engineering costs to connect this equipment to yours
  • Ongoing costs of telephone land lines or cellular modem accounts
  • Difficulties with unreliable cellular modem connections

REAC has developed products that overcome these barriers:

  • Our Remote Transmitting Units (RTU) have ample inputs, both Digital and Analog to monitor even the most demanding applications for a surprisingly low initial investment
  • Our engineers can easily help adapt our products to your specific needs
  • Our unique use of a control channel in the cellular band allows low cost data packets to be transmitted to the Internet where it is immediately available to you 24 hours a day
  • The bi-directional communication method is wireless, extremely fast, low in cost and far more reliable than cellular modems.

The key to the success of REAC's wireless products is in the use of the very robust cellular control channel and a unique connection to the Internet. Using proven MicroBurst® technology, our products can successfully operate in fringe areas where regular cellular connections are not possible. Because a modem "talk" path is never established, a local cellular account is not required reducing ongoing costs significantly. Additionally, this connection technique allows simultaneous connections to many thousands of RTU's.

All you need to view you data is an ordinary browser and a connection to the Internet. Your data is safe, secure and available to view at your convenience. Preprogrammed alerts, you decide on, can be sent automatically via email, voice-mail, pager or fax as you decide.
